A shared space, a few ground rules.

By creating a Looseword account or submitting a confession without one, you confirm that you are at least 13 and agree to these terms and the community guidelines. This is our minimum age for the current BC campus pilot. It is not a guarantee that every person can consent to every use of their information.

First-year students under 18 are welcome. Before participating, make sure you understand what will be public, what information providers process, and how removal works. If anything is unclear, ask through the contact on our privacy page before sharing. We do not ask for your birth date, ID, or student number to prove your age.

Your account and contributions.

Keep your login secure. Post only content you have the right to share. Do not impersonate people, reveal another person’s private information, manipulate reactions, bypass limits, or interfere with the service.

Permission to display your posts.

You retain rights to your contributions. Submitting them gives Looseword permission to store, review, display, and format them as part of the service, including user-requested share cards. Approved words and their community are public; this is not a private diary. Readers may copy or share them. The notice on a connected Google Form explains its separate publication choices. Permission to publish on an operator’s Instagram account must be given separately for that named account.

You may remove account posts or delete your account through Account. For a website confession submitted without an account, keep its private receipt to check or withdraw it. We cannot recover a lost receipt. A Google Form submission has no Looseword receipt; use the private removal form in its notice or the contact on our privacy page. Removing content here cannot recall someone else’s screenshot or shared copy.

Moderation and access.

We can decline or remove content and suspend participation when needed to enforce the guidelines or protect the community. Automated controls and human moderation cannot guarantee that every harmful post will be caught. Use reports to bring concerns to our attention.

Availability and reliability.

This is an early service. Features and availability may change. User posts are opinions and personal experiences; Looseword does not verify each claim or provide professional advice.

Independent campus community.

Looseword is not operated, endorsed, or administered by the schools, residences, faculties, or departments listed here. Community labels describe their focus and do not certify a participant’s affiliation.
